Function:

The coupling occurs as for standard couplings by inserting the push-in nipple into the coupling socket. Uncoupling is effected by pressing the uncoupling button. Then the coupling socket closes and ventilates the coupling plug when still held in the coupling socket. This reliably prevents the dangerous recoil effect. Zinc-plated steel type and 1.4404: Plug is released by pressing a second time, plastic type: plug is only released after the residual pressure on the plug side has dropped below approx. 0,5 bar.

Advantages:

•Coupling head can be rotated - after being screwed in, the push button can be turned to a position that is optimal from an ergonomic point of view, •safety function is controlled via residual pressure on plug side (only plastic type), •antistatic, compliant with ATEX 2 standard (no potential source of ignition) and can therefore be used in spray booths, gas environments or grain transfers (only plastic type), •plastic body prevents surfaces from being scratched (only plastic type), •manufactured without silicone (only plastic type)

Recommendation:

Use coupling plugs made of hardened steel!
